Why this page exists, who I am, what happens when I go quiet
A page about the page itself. Read it once and you know what the rest of this site is and what it is not.
Who I am
Nobody in particular. I have used Nexus long enough to be tired of digging through pinned Dread threads every few weeks to find the current onion. So I keep a file. That file is now this page.
How I keep the list current
Every time the operator publishes a signed rotation, I run the verification described on the checks page. If the signature is good, the new address goes on the front page and the rotation goes into the log. If the signature fails, nothing happens and I take a screenshot for my own record.
Between rotations, I open the primary from a fresh Tor circuit a few times a week, watch the queue, watch the captcha and confirm the address in the picture still matches the address in this file. If either drifts, that goes in the log too.
What I refuse to do
- Sell placements. I list one market. It is not sponsored.
- Route the address through any redirect. Copy the string, paste it, log in.
- Add analytics. There are no scripts phoning home from this page.
- Track visits. The web server does log requests because it has to, and the log rotates out weekly.
- Take donations. If I burn out on this, I stop, and no wallet has to be held responsible.
What happens if I go quiet
If the front page has not moved in more than three weeks and the operator has published a rotation in the meantime, do not trust the address at the top of this page. Verify a fresh rotation yourself from the operator Dread post and paste that address into your browser. This site is a convenience, not a source of truth. The signed announcement is the source of truth.
Contact
There is no contact. If you spot an address here that does not match a signed announcement, verify one more time and if you still think it is off, tell people in the market's Dread thread. Anyone reading that thread includes me.
