Questions

The ones I keep answering

If you wrote to me and got a two-line answer, it probably came from one of these. Nothing exhaustive, only the questions that come back.

Is the address at the top of this page the current Nexus primary?

Yes at the time this page rendered. I refresh it against the operator signed post, and the log tab shows every time it has moved. If a week has passed and I have not touched the file, the address is still current or I am on holiday.

Are the three mirrors different shops?

No. They are three separate onions pointed at the same backend. Your account, balance, order history and messages appear identically on any of them. Pick whichever opens fastest.

Why keep a whole site for one market?

Because one market is exactly the amount of address book I need. A directory that lists twenty markets fights to keep twenty rotation cycles current, and usually loses to at least one. One entry per file is easier to keep honest.

Do you run Nexus?

No. I have no connection to the operator. If they ever asked me to change anything on this page, I would not, and the request itself would go into the rotation log.

What coins does Nexus take?

Bitcoin, Litecoin and Monero. Monero is the privacy default. Litecoin is convenient for small orders because confirmations arrive faster than Bitcoin. Bitcoin works for everything but leaves a public trace.

Where is the operator PGP key?

Pinned on the operator Dread profile. Also visible on the market's own /pgp page once you are logged in. Do not fetch the key from anywhere else, and once you have it, do not re-fetch. The whole point of the key is that you trust the first copy you saw and check every future rotation against it.

Nexus is stuck on the anti-DDoS wait, is it down?

Not necessarily. The queue is slow because it is doing its job. If the counter is decrementing at all, wait it out. If it has been frozen for five minutes on multiple circuits, try a mirror. If every mirror stalls too, check isnexusdown.online before assuming the worst.

How do I bookmark this safely?

Bookmark this page inside Tor Browser only. Do not save it in the same browser you use for logged-in clearnet accounts. When you come back, glance at the URL bar and confirm you landed on nexusurl.store and not on a lookalike.
